Whether you’re preparing to tackle the marathon yourself or simply enjoy witnessing the excitement, here is your guide to the extraordinary weekend that awaits on Kiawah Island.
About the Race
This year’s Kiawah Island Golf Resort Marathon and Half Marathon will both begin and conclude in the picturesque West Beach Village, navigating participants on their 26.2-mile or 13.1-mile journeys through the stunning maritime forests, peaceful marshlands, and charming neighborhoods that make Kiawah Island unique.
Both the Marathon and Half Marathon will commence from the West Beach Conference Center on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 8:00 AM. Participants will have 6.5 hours to complete the race, with the course officially closing at 2:30 PM.
Spectator Viewing
It’s not just the runners who are in for a memorable day—the race is equally exciting for spectators. With optimal viewing points located near the start and finish lines, you can cheer on your runner while staying connected through the RaceJoy app, which offers real-time updates.
Spectators can easily travel between viewing locations by bike, allowing you to support the runners throughout the course.
